The Golf Course
The course was designed by E. Serra. The Club was founded in 1983. It has rather long narrow undulated sloping fairways with bunkers on most holes. Good, fast greens with tifton grass 328 are a feature of this hilly well-wooded layout. Most of the holes are uphill or downhill with very few parallel holes. The 2nd, 3rd and 18th holes are magnificent.

The Hotel
Club del Lago Hotel is located in the prestigious tourist resort of Punta del Este, in Uruguay just 15 minutes from downtown, full of leisure and recreational attractions. Highligths of this recently built resort include the adjacent 18 holes golf course.

Attractions
Punta del Este is 14 kms from the resort. It might be geographically located in Uruguay but it´s where the elite of Buenos Aires make their homes for the summer. Punta del Este and its surrounding towns have over 50 kms of waterfront,strectching along both coasts.
There are two types of beaches: one on less windy side” la Mansa” where the mayority of the city´s major hotels are and the other beach with rougher wawes, “la brava” is less crowed. |
